Has anyone ever experience a dog get sick and won't hardly eat. She's been sick about two weeks and 3 day ago I notice about 2 to 3 inches of her tongue turned black and today she bit that off I don't know what else to do I've tried everything does anyone know what could have got her sick and turned her tongue black and bite that part off. Is there anything I could do to cure her???

I had one years back when I hunted on the outside tongue turned black took to Vet he said he had got in anti freeze.Could not save him.Good luck with yours

Sounds like renal failure to me. Could be from anti-freeze. Horrible way to watch a great hound go down. With the help of my vet, I brought 1 back but she was the only 1 of more than 10 that did not make it. She happily lived another year & half but could not raise pups, only pleasure hunted her until the end.
