Tom and Bubba Powell's Grandaughter/Niece 5k/Shirts
We are selling shirts in memory of my niece that passed away last week from a battle of cancer. She was only 12 years old. The shirt below was designed by Alexandra and myself before she passed away.
Here is Alex's story:
She was diagnosed in September of 2014 with Ewing's Sarcoma, which is a type of bone cancer. She was doing well and responding to the treatments until April 2015. Alex had a relapse that involved her skull and lungs. She started a relapse protocol and that failed. The goal of selling these shirts and as well as the 5k is to bring awareness about Ewing's Sarcoma. Sadly, her battle ended last Tuesday July 14, 2015. She is loved and missed by many. Please continue to pray for the my sister and her family.
