C&M 2 Day Derby

July 25th & 26th, 2015

Boy did it feel good to get to sleep late this morning. Getting up at 3:00am 2 days in a row and going to bed at 11:00pm one of those nights will make your shoes heavy. C&M 2 Day Derby had all it takes to make a good hunt, plenty of good running game, a very good class of hounds, good weather and 14 top notch judges that worked very hard. Thumbs up fellows. We had a group of hunters that will make you want to go the extra mile. Thank all of you hunters for making this hunt one to remember. The kids had a good time too. They were busy for 2 days and could of gone on a couple more days.

Thank you Clyde Sutton for Mastering the hunt and Pete Warren for being the Asst. Master . Tommy McLamb was our Bench Show judge and he did a very good job along with Craig Nobles the Ring Master. All of the judges did a great job and were as follows: Clyde Sutton, Craig Nobles, Pete Warren, Marvin Ricks, Tommy Carter, Tommy Murray, Tommy McLamb, Eddie Allnutt, Bill Holden, Scott Mills, Steven Burge, Jason Littles , Gene Larrimore and Coy Norris.

I want to thank my wife Hilda and her assistant Sally Mills for entering scores and for Hilda making 45 gallons of tea for the two days and doing a few other things I needed done. Thank you Dwight Little for doing Game Patrol and doing a good job. I know the game thank you too.

I had my grandson Cade Ward helping me this week and he did some of it all and did a good job at it. I hope he will come back again. My Do This Do That helper Gregg helps me every day so you know he is tuff. Thank you Gregg .

A special thanks to Mike Carr with Pride and Randy McGovern with Showtime for all you do. With your help the winners left with some big smiles. Thank you Hunters for supporting C&M. I hope to see you all back soon. Congratulations to all the winners.
