Need some info on symptoms and treatment. Had doc get some ticks on him and now ain't acting right

Give it Doxycycline for atleast a week

Mattered eyes, loss of appetite, loss of energy, rapid weight loss, sometimes rectal bleeding( either dark discharge or bright red discharge, sometimes nose bleed, Lyme disease often has swollen sore joints

Doxycycline 200mg twice a day for a minimum 2 weeks. Very hard to find and price has gotten outrageous!!! Also, some type of anti-inflammatory Remadyl or Deramax once a day for 5 days! 👍🏻

Very hard to cure but easy to prevent!! Purple Python cattle tags on their collars and change them out about every 6 weeks and you will never have ticks again. A little over a dollar a tag. If your hound is not worth that you don't need him
