Well, we are now into field trials for 2016 but the 2015 Leaderboard points standings for HOY, SOY, DOY and KOY was bigger than ever. We actually had points calculated for over 175 derby and AA hunts and the 2015 race for HOY went down to the final hunt of the year, the World Cup. From the leaderboard committee and hunters, “Thanks” to all of the associations who chose to participate in 2015. It was a huge success and we know the hunters are especially thankful for your participation and the opportunity to receive acknowledgment for their hard work and accomplishments. For 2015 and the 175 hunts, we calculated points for over 1500 individual hounds, over 600 sires, over 990 dams, and over 600 kennels. The continued participation from hunts across the US and Canada is an attestation to this popular and successful awards program. We really hope everyone enjoys the continued updates and utilizes the information to build yourself a better breeding program in the future.
As of today, we have completed the final 2015 standings calculations and are currently reviewing the data for accuracy. Within a few weeks, we will be posting the Top 20 in each category in ALPHABETICAL ORDER and subsequently recognizing them at the 2016 Masters’ field trial banquet. This year, the banquet will be held March 16th at 6 pm at the Varner 4-H Center in Swainsboro, GA.
The owners, friends and relatives are all invited to attend.
