The 2016 USO was a 100% Success thanks to the parti****nts and their hounds, the judges, and Richard Evans' Low Country Fox Run. The running was outstanding and the fellowship enjoyed by all was even better.
Scoring for this event was awesome. When the USO was here two years ago we had a great hunt and the winner in Speed and Drive had 870 points. This time it took 1005 for 10th!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then it took 1135 to win the Speed and Drive.
Congrats to Connor Richardson and oh his dad, Brad.
When Master of Hounds Craig Nobles announced the winner the crowd where these two were standing erupted. I was so happy for these two and the whole family, some of the finest people in our beloved sport.
Thanks to President Matt Segars for all he did and had done. Again, his leadership made this hunt a total success.

Start making plans for the 2017 USO led by President Lamar Blalock. The dates will be January 8th thru 13th and the venue will be the Old 74 in Hallsboro, NC for the first three days and last day will be run at C&M Fox Preserve in Chadbourn, NC. The hunt will be limited to 250 hounds. Keep an eye out over the summer for our ad explaining the process of parti****ting in the 2017 USO.
