You can’t change the direction of the wind, but you can adjust the sails to reach your destination and it appears that is exactly what a lot of kennels have done. We are only three months into the 2016 field trial year, but the top of the leaderboard categories are filled with lots of fresh blood. It’s evident, a lot of kennels have worked hard and hard work does pay off and life rewards those who put forth the effort. Man is a goal seeking animal. His life only has meaning if he is reaching out and striving for his goals. The competition and competitiveness level within our sport is as great as any in the world. There are many trails up a mountain and in time they all reach the top. Most of these kennels may have gotten there through different paths, but at the end of day, they reached the top by climbing up one step at a time. The fresh names in the current leaderboard standings are not necessarily new names to the sport, but new to taking over some of the top spots. It’s great and rejuvenating and the remainder of the year can only be full of anticipation and dreams. So, hats off to the current leaders, but remember the saying, “life is like a ferris wheel. One minute you’re on top, the next you’re on the bottom. Just stay in your seat, enjoy the ride, and hang on until you reach the top again”.

When will the central Florida 3 day results be added in? 😕

I can calculate the points once I receive the number of hounds entered in each class (derby & AA separate). I reached out to Happy and asked for it but have not received it. He was going to try and reach Butch.

Yes, I got the information and thanks to everyone for their assistance. Most likely I will post an update in a week or two. I typically try to post updates on a monthly basis to keep them as visible and current as possible.
