Correction on gun, its Ruger American, 30-06 bolt action, we will raffle this gun. When I got over there yesterday the cooperate boss wouldn't let them give the browning. With help of sponsors we paid 200 on Ruger they donated the other. We also bought a Remington 308 bolt with scope to give away in the 17" an above class. Thanks to donations from Terry Byrd 100, Jermy Sullivent ADHA 200, Troy Jordon 100, we only had to pay another 165.00 to get the guns. Brian Lamey donated free breeding his July hound as well. Ty Dupree donated shirt, hat , cooler.
We thought u had a gun for the 17 and under class also .. That's what u had said Johnny ??????
If u could please clear this up for us ??????
Think he meant 17 and under. Both 1st places will get a gun
There be a gun for 17 and under, a gun for 17 and above, and a gun to raffle. We bought two guns and Josh Harper, with Jed Outdoors, is supposed to donate one for the beagle class.
Did you want to get some numbers Scotty? Josh said, he would donate the other gun for the beagle class, month ago, so that's why we had to buy one for the big dog class, so it would be fair. We decided while we were at it, to raffle one in hopes of making our money back, why we got the 3rd. I figured during lunch, we had 80 beagle numbers, thats 800.00, and what we were giving away was 1200.00, so we got to make the loss back someway. The big dogs have 206 numbers out, that's 2060.00, if they show, they will pick up the tab, judges meals, mowing, supplies, hats, and door prizes. This is a fund raiser hunt, we have helped 28 family's in last 5 years, so hope we get more dogs, thanks to all that has helped.
Scotty won't get numbers an run he only attends lil put on events with low numbers. He may tell his wife he went so he has an excuse to slip off but he won't run dogs!!!
Scotty Long, Colt Sharp, Jason Meeks donated 2 - 5 beagles free running at Full Throttle Fox Pen, Jason Meeks wife, donated 2 Best In Show blankets. Thanks Guys!
