The 2016 Master’s Leaderboard hound and hunter recognition program sponsored by the Hunter’s Horn Magazine, Pride Feeds, Showtime Feeds, Johnson Telemetry and Specialty Feeds is just 7 months into the year and we have already calculated points for 106 field trials held to date and a record number of hounds, sires, dams and kennels than any year in the history of the leaderboard program. This year’s races for top honors in HOY, SOY, DOY and KOY may even be closer and more exciting than 2014 and 2015 years were by the time mid-November and December get here.
To date, we have points calculated for 950+ hounds in HOY, 475+ hounds in SOY, 675+ hounds in DOY and 460+ kennels in KOY. Thanks, and outstanding job and representation from all regions.

So, if you want to make a big impression and possibly “takeover” some of these top spots this fall, make plans now to attend any one of the upcoming Master’s Grade II hunts such as the Southern Star (Jena, LA), the Deep South Masters, the East Coast Masters or the Grade 1 Top Gun, scheduled to be held in Hallsboro, NC in November. Also on the horizon is the Flora-Bama Open, the National and Futurity (MS) trials or the ever popular NC State and Virginia State trials, who always draw record high entries due to the strong heritage of hounds and hunters in the NC and Virginia area.
