Franchised Mississippi Hunting Dog Association 3 Day Hunt.
The MS Hunting Dog Association 3 day has been the biggest grade 3 hunt at Deep South Running Pen each year. There are so many hunters from all parts of the state that come to support and kick the hind ends of the best that our state has to offer. Me and the board members of the MSHDA have agreed to make the 3 Day a Grade 2 Franchise hunt. For those of you unaware of the franchise hunts the association must meet qualifications of a minimum of 100 AA dogs(based on region), must pay $1 per dog to the Leaderboard, and have the Masters Leaderboard Granchise Agreement signed and delivered 10 days prior to the start of the hunt.
To my knowledge this will be the first franchised hunt for MS. I think this is going to be great for the hunters, make the hunt have an even bigger turnout, and help what truly matters most (the support to the Mississippi Dog Hunters Association).
