Hey Don, sounds like a great hunt y'all are putting together. Do you know if there is any open cast mornings at Plantation Fox Pen? I know in the past it was on Saturday mornings.
It is always a good hunt, a great reunion of oldtimers and lots of fun. I don't know about the open mornings. Paul and Russell are adding more game to the pen now. Call Paul to see when they may resume the open morning hunts. Thanks!
we are down to the last week before the hunt. if you plan to join us please give don a call so we can plan the meals for the hunters. it will be a great hunt with plenty game at the pen.
THE OLDTIMERS' HUNT ORIGINALLY SCHEDULED TO BE HELD AT THE PLANTATION PEN AT AIMWELL,LA ON APRIL 4 TO 6 HAS BEEN POSTPONED TO THE FALL. THE PLANTATION PEN HAS BEEN RESTORED TO A "GOOD AS NEW" CONDITION AND THE RUNNING IS VERY GOOD. THERE ARE OTHER FACTORS RIGHT NOW THAT HAVE DELAYED US, AND WE ARE WANTING TO AVOID THE HOT SUMMER NIGHTS WE KNOW ARE JUST AROUND THE CORNER. WE WILL KEEP EVERYONE POSTED AS WE START GETTING BACK INTO THE COOL NIGHTS OF FALL. HOPE TO SEE YOU OLDTIMERS AT THE PLANTATION THEN.
