The 2017 Memorial Day weekend puppy hunt will be held May 27-28. The first day will be run at Turkey Branch fox pen in Guyton, Ga. The second and final day will be run at Mixon's fox pen in Statesboro, Ga. The hunt is for pups born May 1, 2016 and after. Contact Clint Sheppard @ 912-213-1623 for running at Turkey Branch prior to the hunt. Entry fee will be $50 per dog. Dog food for prizes. Contact Tracy Mixon @ 912-531-0505 for numbers starting May 1, 2017 @ 12pm. Lunch served after the second day's running.

"Hunt" must be trying to figure out who he needs to go run with to guage his pups.

I know it probably wont matter to most, but that's the same weekend as the South Georgia.... Wont be able to make it. Maybe next year.

Why did south ga change there dates to the same as the two day puppy track has had this annual hunt for a long time south ga was always the weekend after
