Benefit hunt for Cecil Mcmellon!!
Hunt will be held at the Garland co fox and wolf hunters grounds at Buckville AR on August 19.
This will be a 2 class ( 17" and under 17" and above) 3hr speed and drive. $10 a dog. Donations and auction items welcome. Donated trophies to the top ten in both classes and donated blankets to the winners in both classes. Hunters will be paired to judge and scores will be figured by our MOH John Hackney. August 19 at iron fork boat ramp. We'll be doing roll call and awards at this area. We'll have a catch pen set up. Casting will be in Oakwood at daylight. We'll run three hours with roll call being 5 that morning. We have trophies for both classes and dog blankets for the top three winners. We'll have an auction, please don't let this detour you from coming, it's for a good cause to help someone in need. Please come support this hunt! If anyone has questions about Oakwood call me 501-547-1083. I'll help you gather your dogs. I will stay with y'all until the last dog is gathered! Let's make this a good hunt!
Sorry for all of the changing. The Cecil Mcmellon benefit hunt will be ran at Buckville August 19. This will be a 2 class hunt ( 17" and under 17" and over) we will run for 3 hr. We will meet at the Powells Cabin on Woodecker cir ( call Tom Powell for further directions at 5012891201) for roll call and awards after. There will be a auction after the hunt if anybody has anything they would like to bring to be auctioned it would be greatly appreciated. Trophies will be awarded to the top 10 in each class. ATTENTION: Cecil McMellon Benefit Hunt, August 19th. There will be two classes: 17" and under will be 0-99, Big dog class will be 100 and up. Roll call will be at Garland County/Lake Ouachita Hunt House Saturday morning at 5:00am. We will convoy to Oakwood to the casting grounds. WE WILL NOT BE RUNNING DOGS IN BUCKVILLE. We will cast in Oakwood, running for three hours. $10 per dog. Master Hound to be announced. 11:00 we'll hold a bench show. Dean Meredith will be Bench Show judge. There will be four classes: All Age Male, All Age Female, Derby Male, & Derby Female. $5 a dog to show. Auction to follow. Any donations appreciated. Spaghetti dinner $5 a plate.
