Well, for field trailers and dog lovers, we’ve had yet another exciting year for the Master’s Leaderboard hound and hunter recognition program sponsored by the Hunter’s Horn Magazine, Pride Feeds, Showtime Feeds, Specialty Feeds and Johnson Telemetry. The final “top” 20 spots for HOY, DOY, SOY and KOY are no where from being finalized. Some of the top 20 spots are separated by just 0.5 point. There is essentially 7 weeks left in the 2017 field trial year with several Grade 3 trials, one Grade 1-A (National) three Grade 1 trials (Southern Star, AIRHC, World Cup) and two Grade 2 trials (Futurity & Southern Classic Open) pending cast. Although there are some top spots with commanding leads, the final order can and will most definitely change, because the final 12 trials for SOY, DOY and KOY have not been calculated and the travel points for HOY have not been added in.

As of today, we have already entered data into the Leaderboard Foxhound Awards program this year from 150 field trials (derby & AA) and what an exciting year. Thank you to all of the directors and secretaries who have submitted their trial information. The hunters and hounds appreciate your time.
