In the 1960s ealy 1970s, the Mersea Sea Scouts had a smack called Sally, about 40' long and fitted with a diesel engine, so not the Sallie in your list. Does anyone have any history of this smack since 1970 or any photos?

That is the same Sallie. I work for the Sea Scouts now Offshore in Mersea and I can say that is definitely CK224 on our office walls.
