I'm taking Zoloft and a friend of mine went to a meeting on weight loss. At the meeting she learned that if you are taking any anti-depressant such as Zoloft, you will NEVER lose weight because it slows everything down, you will only gain weight. It seems reasonable and convincing but is it really true? I'm trying to lose weight and it has been very hard for me to do so. I am gaining weight but maybe I'm just not trying hard enough to lose weight? Although it certainly seems like I'm trying.. well I don't know, what are your thoughts on this and are there any anti-depressants that won't affect your weight? Hmmm my choices are to be depressed or overweight... wow I can't wait to make that decision..
