You cannot call yourself a wiccian (honestly) untill a year & a day after you pledged to wiccia.
A book of shadows is not only a spell book, its also a journal of sorts, trust me, you want to record some of the stuff that happens!
Also, dont use spells pulled from the internet..use them as a guildline to make your own. spells just pop into your head, write them down, they are usually a zillion times more effective then ones you write and re-write and re-write....(i'm not saying they dont work though)
Also, one more thing..if your main power is Air, and you try a weather spell, without immedite results..give it some time..once i made it rain almost for a solid month becouse i was impatient.
