think what happened was a travesty of justice

WHO is suppose to protect our pets from bad vets?
WHY are repeat offenders allowed to remain open for more business?
HOW do we change the system that seems to protect \"their\" vets and not our pets?
That which is NOT acceptable needs to be legally changed.

Stempy looks so much like our little Max who was a ****zu X.
I am incredidly saddened by the passing of adorable little Stempy.
I am much comforted that they wait for us at 'The Rainbow Bridge' to lead us home when we die.
I am further comforted that Stempy and our Max were loved so incredibly much and that our lives have truly be blessed by them choosing us to be their worldly parents.

I couldn\'t stop crying about your sweet Stempy. I cannot believe the audacity of that vet. That is so scary. I hope you have some peace knowing he\'s in a better place. I just lost my sweet baby on Aug. 1. She had cancer & was gone in 40 days. Reading about Stempy only magnified my loss as well. I hope you have peace & I am so sorry for your loss. Nobody & I mean nobody should ever have to go through what you did. I love the dedication to him. Loss of our pet children is devestating.

I am so sorry for all that you and Beautiful Stempy had to suffer at the hands of a clearly incompetent veterinarian. I do understand your pain and anger; my little one was also a victim of incompetence and died as a result. Thank you for putting together this loving tribute to Stempy to try to help others avoid his fate. I know how much you love him and miss him still. I pray we will see them again, whole and happy, someday.

My little guy looked just like your Muffy. We lost him a few weeks ago. I\'m so sorry for what you have gone through. I was too trusting and didn\'t ask enough questions at the end. I think vets get burned out and they don\'t realize it. It becomes a boring job to them just like the rest of us have. Unfortunately, they have the power of life and death in their hands and they have just forgotten how awesome that power is. I was looking for a vet in Mesuite to check out one of our dogs who is whining a lot when he stands up. We know where not to go now thanks to you! I also recognized both of you from when I collected for my paper route with the Dallas Morning News. We often spent 30 minutes talking about your dogs or other things when I collected. I always enjoyed our visits. I am hoping you can help me decide on a good vet in Mesquite since I fear my larger dog may have arthritis or possibly hip dysplasia. Please contact me if you can help with this.

The Vet was an INTERN-which we were not informed- We took our innocent sweet girl in there and the office of "SPECIALISTS" She walked in wagging her tail-happy-playing-all normal-They Diagnosed her with Liver Cancer-did a Liver Biopsy (WITH NO ANESTHESIA-WE FOUND THIS OUT AFTER THE FACT)-She had to be carried -and could no longer walk-would not eat-or drink-and died three days after their biopsy bleeding to death from her mouth and rectum-we took her in the day after they did the biopsy complaining she was unable to walk-and they said Nothing was wrong- Their intern and his "Supervising Vet"caused her to bleed to death

I'm so sorry for the loss of Stempy, he is adorable.I stand with you 100%. I lost my beloved cat Limpy last year. She had a few teeth pulled she filled with fluid and passed away just 2 weeks after surgery. I found out later she was given the pain metacation Metacam which is linked to serious illness's and sudden death. It is on the FDA warning list now. I will never trust a vet again. It has been a complete nightmare, I will just have to learn to live with.Thank you for having this site, at least we have a voice here! I know you will see Stempy again and he is alive in heaven today! God Bless

I am deeply sorry to read about the loss of your adorable baby boy, Stempy. I have an interview for vet school in just under 2 weeks and was trying to do some research about the legal system and how it applies to those of the veterinary profession. After reading your story I hope you do not hold this same animosity toward all vets!! Your story has truly touched me and I promise to do all I can to hold my future colleagues and myself accountable for any act of negligence or malpractice. My condolences go out to you, your family, and anyone else who has been a victim of this thoughtless crime.

OMG - I am so sorry about this happening to you. I have had other friends who tell horror stories. So far, I have been with my veterinarian's office for 35 years, and trust them implicitly. They have never done anything I could't trust. I am very sorry for your loss, you loved your dog very much!

please look at my site and read the letter from the vet board. Julie said that you battle was a result of me getting to see the vets response to my orginal complaint. I hoped that you might give me advise or help me an anyway. I do not believe that probation is the only punishment that the vet should have.

Our Beloved Jordie Was Bitten By A Pit Viper And Even Though We Told The Doctor He Had Been Bit And We Had Three Other Snake Bite Incidences And there Was A Fang mark On His Muzzle He Treated Him For A Seizure The Dog Suffered Horribly For Seventeen Hrs Before He Passed away Literally At The 11th Hr He Consulted With Another Doctor Who Said It Was A Snake Bite By Then It Was To Late To Do Any Good.
