Just wanted to let the foxhunting community know that Central Louisiana lost a good foxhunter, Buster was one of a kind you'll be missed.

He and Dutch Koons, what laughter and fun they provided at the fire barrel in Jena. He was fun to be around and will be missed by lots of La. Foxhunters

trent, i found out about buster yesterday. he was a good hunter and ran some good hounds over the years. also i want the hunter to know mr mose pool cancer has came back. keep him in everyone prayers. lh

Services for John “Buster” Kitterlin, Jr., 76, of Jena will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, March 31, 2012 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Aimwell with Revs. Jimmy Keene and Derek Kitterlin officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena. Visitation will begin at 5pm Friday, March 30 and from 8am until 9:30am Saturday, March 31, 2012 at the funeral home. Buster was born in Jena on March 12, 1936 to the union of John, Sr. and Ruby E. Clark Kitterlin and passed from this life on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at Riverside Hospital of Louisiana in Alexandria, La. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Geneva, sons, Malcolm Ray and Mark Bradley Kitterlin and sister, Vernie Wright. He is survived by one son, Michael Kitterlin of Jena; one sister, Gloria Jean Hutchinson of Tioga, La; one brother, Lyndell Kitterlin of Jena and two grandchildren, Karly Rae and Wyatt Malone Kitterlin. Pallbearers will be Darryle Kitterlin, Derek Kitterlin, Charlie Chapman, Kevin Hutchinson, Steve Hutchinson and Michael Kitterlin. Honorary pallbearers will be Jake Bradford, Dutch Kuhn, David Pritchard, Richie Crooks, Charles Flaherty and Buddy Starnes.
