i worm @ 11 days with nemex2 then every week untill 6 weeks then i use safe guard cattle wormer 1cc for 10 lbs every three weeks untill 3 mos.then ivmeck rhunt
Tony I raise a lot of pups and this is what I do. 3wks. I worm with Strongid or Nemex, both are good for pups. Worm every week there after until 6wks. old. At 6wks. I give a 5-1 Ft. Dodge puppy shot, and at 9wks. I give another 5-1 Ft. Dodge puppy shot. I have better luck with the first 2 shots using the 5-1 shots. At 12wks. I give a 8-1 Ft. Dodge shot. I never worm and give shots at the same time. I give another 8-1 shot at 6 to 7 months old for a booster shot and this should be done once a year from then on. I think Ft. Dodge has sold out to another company, but they tell me that it is the same shot just under another name. Worming after 6wks. Safeguard is a good wormer for pups or mix just a little Ivermect with the Strongid works good for me. Good Luck with your pups and hope this helps.
