The following updates will be added to the 2013 Chase-Purina Test Of The Best.

A minimum of 30 hounds entered will be required for the puppy hunts, same as for the 1-days.

Only open hunts will be eligible to be counted. (In other words, hunts that are held that are for hounds that live only within that county will not be eligible for 2013 as they are not open hunts where all hunters and hounds can compete.)

The payouts will increase as follows;

$3000.00 to both the all age 1-day winners and the puppy winners with the following breakdown;

1st place-$1200
2nd place-$800
3rd place-$500
4th place-$300
5th place-$200

In addition, if a hunter who owns a hound that gets in the top 5 places is an active Purina Pro Club member, they will receive the following additional payout;

1st $500
2nd $400
3rd $300
4th $200
5th $100

These updates along with the other rules and regulations will be posted monthly in the Chase magazine. Also, the point standings will also be posted exclusively in the Chase.
