The Great American Race is back! The best pen in America is back and running strong. We discontinued this hunt because we couldn’t find a pen that we felt would be suitable and fair for all hunters from wherever. This is a speed and drive hunt in a speed and drive pen that just happens to be 1,000 acres. The hunt will be held at the Tar River pen in Creedmoor NC. There will be an abundant amount of judges, and the hunt will be run under SRHA rules. Hunt will run Sat. and Sun. May 4 & 5 you have to run Sat. to run Sun. All money less expenses will be paid to top 10 hounds each day. All hounds that run Sat. are eligible to run Sun. this is a 2 day speed and drive hunt with each day being a separate hunt. The top 10 each day will receive all money after expenses, entry fee is $100.00 plus $20.00 membership. No limit on hounds. Will start given out numbers out on Sun. March 24 from 7-9pm. You may also sign up for draw list at same time. I will draw numbers on Sun. April 21 at 7pm. If you sign up for draw list you must use drawn numbers or not be eligible for hunt.
