Bud Davis Texas, that's were the D came from, like streaking guinea D.

Re: Guinea Bloodline ???

If my memory serves me correctly I think that the Guinea bloodlines goes back to some of the Haigen bloodlines. But that may not be carved in stone.

Re: Guinea Bloodline ???

I believe Bud Davis bred one of his gyps to Streaker Haggin when Don Richey owned him to produce the Guinea hounds. After that I think Mark Curry and/or Bobby Hatcher bought a number of the hounds from Mr. Davis.
When Steve Watts bought Streaker and brought him north, he was past his prime and had only one eye but was still a front end hound. I never saw him run but saw and owned lots of hounds out of him. They were, for the most part, competitive coyote hounds. One hunter, who saw him as a young hound when Ron Sheridan owned him, told me that he was the fastest hound he'd ever seen on a red fox.
