The 3rd Annual Firemen Hunt will be held March 10th at the North Holden Fox Pen. It will be a 3 hour, all age CRHA benefit hunt with an entry fee of $50 per dog. For every dog entered, you get a raffle ticket for a prize drawing. Last year, the prize was a nice rifle.
We will have plenty of judges who are firemen that have no connection to hunters, so it will be as fun and fair as it gets. Ask anyone who came last year and they’ll tell you it was a great hunt. Some of the prizes last year were Yeti coolers, rifles, pistols, shotguns, Nikon binoculars, Garmin tracking collars, dog food and plenty more. This year we're raising money for a kid that got burned at a hunting camp when a gas can exploded. Come on out to support a good cause, have a lot of fun, win some prizes, and do some eating (jambalaya will be served). I'll start taking numbers Feb. 1st. Please don't call ahead of time. Books are open and it's filling up fast looking like it's going to be a big hunt we're already getting some great donations a couple guns couple Yeti Coolers a Garmin collar and we haven't even started scratching the surface we have someone coming to setting up a barbecue pit with a big canopy serving sausages for breakfast and the fireman or cooking a jambalaya
