The 2017 NC State Field Trial was a total success!

On behalf of President Jeff Brinchek and the Directors of the NCFHA we would like to thank everyone who attended this years 2017 NC State. Also thank you to MOH Wayne "Jabo" Hobby and his assistant MOH Bill McGee along with the fine group of hard working judges for putting up a very good score board each day. As always Richard Evans had the pen in excellent shape and the running was very strong each day with it taking 1025 pts to win the speed and drive in the Derby and 1215 pts in the All Age!!!

Also thank you to a great group of Hunters who brought a very good class of hounds to the hunt! This was evident with the clean cast each day. Again this year I was impressed with the group effort on catching up hounds and the sportsmanship displayed the entire hunt!

Congratulations to Ronnie Norris on winning the 2017 NC State Derby. Also congratulations to Adam Locklair "Postlock Kennels" on making Postlocks's Spotlight the 2017 NC State Field Champion!

This year I was very fortunate and excited to win the 2017 N.C. State Bench show with my hound Swift Creek Rusty.

Congratulations to Larmar Blalock for receiving this years Gordon Sorrell Sportsmanship award. Larmar is very deserving of this special award.

Special thanks goes out to Mike Carr with Pride dog food and Moose Jowers with Showtime dog food for the generious donations for this year hunt! These two fine Gentlemen are a tremendous asset to our sport!!!
