Winter Series begins Feb. 20 at Ridge Grove Facility (7 miles west of LaFayette AL, 10 miles east of Camp Hill, AL). Open to all 2015 pups Jan. 1 and after. PLEASE NO RINGERS. Payback to Top Five pups in qualifiers. Top Thirty scoring pups plus all ties qualify for the Final March 19. Speed and Drive only. Top Thirty also qualify for 2016 Alabama Governor's Cup FT and BS.
Finals Paypack to top ten plus the three highest scoring hounds in total Speed and Drive points scored in all events ( 3 hours Feb.20 and March 5 Qualifiers, March 19 Finals run 4 hours).
Facility stocked with 20+ good running yotes and this is the first trial in this place in years. Thanks to Cody Edmundson for allowing us to use it. Approx 150 acres of solid roaring races in Pines and Hardwoods with a nice little ridge to test your pups! If you haven't been showing up in your local pup trials, gas is cheaper, take a little road trip to new ground and see how they do. Bring 'em ALL! Should be a good time for everyone.
As usual Everyone and ALL strains of hounds are welcome. Promise quality fair Judging to ALL. We still judge the hounds here not the nameplates. Again no overage pups allowed, Jan.1,2015 and after only, NO EXCEPTIONS. Pups must have their dam's (momma's) name and whelping date to enter. Of course Sire's name is welcome also, but not required to enter.

Still having great running and hope some of you will give it a try. Nothing ventured nothing gained. Winner of the final with minimum entries should easily win over a grand and tenth place will get your money back plus. Naturally the more pups the better the payback! So ya'll come.

PS Sorry I haven't called you Brandon but just checked back here and saw your reply, been super busy and my phone is temporarily out of order . I didn't see a listing for their hunt as I wouldn't have stepped on their date. I wanted to make it a qualifying hunt with a final for a nice payback. To fit it into a winter series I needed to finish up before March 20 so I'll just go ahead with the current dates. Hopeful you and others who might miss the first one can make the March 5, or better, you and Rob could split up one weekend and kick sand on the competition in two different counties on the same day -LOL ! Call you as quick as I can Buddy.
Road to facility gate is located two hundred yards south of 3156 County Road 033, (LaFayette, Alabama) and 100 yards north of Center Baptist Church. Look for sign. Gate will be open from 6:45 to 7:45 AM eastern (5:45 - 6:45 central) for your convenience. Plan to run 8 to 11 am eastern, 7 to 10 central.
Speed and Drive hunt run under modified Masters, National and AFBA rules. Young derbys and pups must be scratched by minimum of (3) three field judges. Only Home Plate can single scratch for Crated or Return to Cast. We plan to try to score them not eliminate them if at all possible.
