Has anyone heard anything about the Manning fox pen closing?

Yes.but hope its not true.

This is a big issue..If this pen is over,what does our future look like? Will the large number of hounds being bred and trained for field trials in South Carolina continue into the future?

We have already lost one great pen in SC being Pamplico if this does happen I for one will be getting out 😡

The big pen has pen sold it will still have its hunts scheduled for this year but they are planning on upgraded the small pen to about 600/700 acres

Heard its a done deal the USO will be the last 3 day in the big pen. He will have a few months to switch game from big pen to added on little pen.which should be around 2-300 more acres bigger by then.

Reckon that's it for 3 day field trailing this part the country. Pamplico gone now Forreston dang. Sure be nice someone build 1000 acre pen in the low country.

Huge hit to SC 3 day field trialing. Been to the NC State 3 Day the last two years and it was best time I have had field trialing in a while. Looks like the larger hunts will be pushed farther West as Swainsboro is about all thats left in the South.
