The Society of the 9th Infantry Division (SONID) has been forming over the last few months. The reason for forming SONID is to fill the gap created when the OCTOFOIL ASSOCAITION went belly-up many years ago. Governing laws have been adopted and critical positions filled. A SONID reunion is planned for 27-31 August 2003 at the MRFA reunion. Membership in SONID has been opened and there is an online membership application should you wish to join the Society of the 9th Infantry Division (SONID).
We are looking for nominations for all SONID Officer and Board of Director positions – which the membership will vote on at the first reunion.
Answers to most SONID related questions will be found by going to the SONID web site http://15thengineer.50megs.com/9th_id_society.htm in the Frequently Asked Question (FAQs) section. Should you have additional questions there is a Message Board for you to post your question(s). An answer will be posted to your question within 48 hours or less.
