I am trying to locate Leroy Ward. I served with him in the Navy in 1970 aboard the U.S.S.Courtney(DE-1021) We had some good times in Naples, Italy and I was wondering if he still lives in Steep Falls.

I enjoyed your site. Many memories of Steep Falls as a child. My Ridlon family goes back to about 1820 there, and my grandmother White\'s side, even further. I am the first one in my line not born in the Higgins House. My father was born there in 1900. I still have a woodlot on the Middle Road where I cut firewood often.

my grandmother said she was born here, but can find no record of her anywhere. she had amnesia, and could only remember parts of her life. i am interested to see what i may find in your site. her name is Nan Peirce born oct. 2o 1923

What a wonderful job on the website. I live on Main St. It is so interesting looking at the old pictures. I am not originally from Steep Falls but have been here 10 years and there is no other town I would rather call home. I love it here in our quaint little town with so much history. Thank you for your hard work and dedication.
