I enjoyed your book immensely! My dad also instilled in me the love of the north country. It is much more than just fishing. This year will be my 54th year going to Canada and well over a 100 trips so far. Your book brought back many memories of those years I had with my dad. |

Pikeslayer8 here. Had no idea of your book or your legendary father when I stumbled across your website. Blown away!! My father was the legendary HB Buck Bennett of Manchester. Known for selling explosives(of course Robins Quarry) in eastern Iowa. I'm sure you have seen the trucks. We both are in a very exclusive club. Can't wait to get my hands on your book. Would like to connect more with you. Just this morning I serched kindle store for "Canadian Fishing" and came up with nothing. Sounds like a start to a new Walleye Central thread. Winter fishing reading |

Bill I was a good friend of Richard Lund's , He passed away this year and I miss him very much. We had a game of cribbage almost every day. I also know the remaining Hansons. Roger was the father of a friend of mine. Her name was Virginnia, She was his only child. Mark had 2 boys. Jeery who is still alive and Marvin who has passed away. His widow Margaret is still alive and living in Raiiny River.. Your Book is wonderful and I'll recommend it to everyone I know.Thankyou. |

Bill I met you when you came to my garage sale and started talking about fishing and Lake of the Woods. Only people who fish know how we feel about the fishinng experience. It's not all about the fishing. Remember , like my dad use to say, if you can't spend 8 hrs in a boat with someone, you don't want to be friends with him or her. Great talking to you Sue K |

Discovered that Bill & I are essentially neighbors in Iowa. Small world when from miles apart you meet a neighbor with the aid of the computer! We share some of the same territory on Lake of the Woods, Ontatio. |

The Northwoods is a very special place...it has been a real blessing to go there every year with my family. The fishing is awesome and worthy of a book such as this. Thanks for sharing. |

Hi Dad, It's so cool to read fellow Walleye Central members' comments re: the book! I'm so glad you were able to help your readers relive some of their own fishing memories and teach the next generation of great outdoorsmen "the way it 'used' to be" during the pioneering days of exploring Lake of the Woods! Love you Dad, Shell |
