Hello, I have a 1902 dimeglio mandolin in very good shape .. the tuners seem to be an issue. I did try cleaning them and degreasing and put some silcon spray each cog. For the first time the dimeglio mandolin stays I tune. I am trying find a set of function tuners for this dimeglio. Not sure have a set for sale, maybe know someone or alternatively could repair the ones have. Appreciate your help .

Hi Dave,
I found an old mandolin banjo in an antiques store in Denmark and I am currently overhauling it as good as I can. I would like to send you some photographs to ask you for advice, especially regarding the tuner and the treatment of the wooden parts. I also need a saddle and a bridge, preferably made by you...
Please send me your E-Mail adress so I can send you the photos and some data.
Thank you very much,
Pascal A.

Hello Dave,

I hope life is treating you well, and that your move was successful!
It\'s a while since I\'ve been in touch, but I just thought I\'d write to ask
how much you reckon it would cost to straighten the fretboard of a Carlo Martello mando which looks very nice (minus bow). It\'s on e-bay at the moment(good cause). Depending on what you estimat, I may or may not go ahead (difficult to justify, but I\'m tempted). I don\'t know anything about Martello, but he certainly seems to have produced nice-looking insruments.
Many thanks in advance.
Best wishes,
Douglas

Hi Dave,
I was left a mandolin my Uncle obtained in Germany during the war. A local Luthier put new strings on it, but tge tuners on both sides have issues and they are one block so both sides need replacing. He can not locste them here and I saw on your site you might have them. I would like to send you a couple of photos of the tuners and mandolin.

Regards
Kenny

Hi Dave,

Been shopping for a waldzither for a while now, without too much success. I\'ve been burned twice on eBay -- one wasn\'t a waldzither, but an unplayable homemade bouzouki; the other was a Bohm, but also unplayable -- warped top and some cracks.

I remember that you\'ve had waldzithers occasionally. Would love to find a Bohm with the traditional watch-key tuners, in playable condition.

Any prospects?

Thanks!

Hope your move went well.

Hi Dave,
My band member wants to sell his old mandolin and was wondering if you could point me in a direction to see what it might be worth. It was bought in Naples in 1961 and has a sticker inside that says Antonio Ranaldi & Figlio 1895. Also says construttori d. strumenti Armonici. It has a bulbous back. Any tips would be appreciated !
