I grew up watching this show. I was born in 1988 and, if not for AUSTAR and some adults channel i had to wake up early to catch Monkey on, i would have missed it. Years later, i was happy to find the box set. Now thanks to the australiana version of monkey retold on NETFLIX- new people will see our original monkey and know what it was we were all hyped on. I love the friendship between monkey and pigsy in the new series- i feel it really captured the joking interaction between them that we found iconic and loveable. Of course, nothing beats our 1978 MONKEY MAGIC
