Oh Mr. Smaxxwell! Who will ever forget the time you almost ripped my arms off while I stupidly tried to work on dressage around the stadium jumps in the front field! I think we had some spectacular moments, but what sticks out in my mind the most is the work out you gave me! And what about the time at Pine Top when you taught me just how scary a coup can be to a horse, and jumped it so big I think you popped my sternum! You were athletic!!

Tag is also appreicative to have known you! He loved his Flashlight Head and the protection he provided from Landshark Laddie many late nights in his early years! Smaxxwell also taught Tag a few lessons in life. Like how to twist your head sideways to beg for treats, how to wait your turn at the gate, and how to jump the stupid colorful sticks in the field (stadium)!

We miss you and love you Mr. Smaxxwell, but I am sure you are happy to be with "your" dog again! He's been waiting on you :)

Maxx will now be running with Schultzi and Stanley again with Pepper and Lucky barking at them.
I remember first meeting Stacey and Maxx at Pine Top in GA. It seems like a lifetime ago now. My funniest Maxx story is from North GA HT. Stacey had a broken hand so I was riding Maxx. He did his classic Stop and Lower his head and I went straight down his neck. Of course the bridle came with me and I landed on the 3 ring Pessoa. I had a bruise of the 3 rings for weeks. ) Stacey I know what you are going through but your other Ponies will be the best medicine for going on. I miss Schultzi and Pepper so much that I still cry over them but they are tears of sweet memories now and much less out of pain. But I have to admitt that I am in tears right now.
Love Always, Kari

You speak of Mr Maxxwell stories, I have so many fond memories of the flashlight head at Big Bear and his first Pine Top. He was such a character, always adding his two cents to everything. Remember all of the super fun state games? And the newspaper article with his photo from his debut? And your parents always there, lending a hand, ready to groom the big guy (after Beau, anything was a pleasure!)...

Stacey, hang in there... Maxx is certainly in greener pastures with a great heard of superstars. Take care... KZK
