I am not a Mason, but I am a direct descendant of Francis Love, he was my 3x great-grandfather, and I very much appreciate your posting his history on your website.
My brother Peter Francis Love has Francis\' silver snuffbox, which still has snuff in it, and a bound copy of his poems.

Best wishes to the bretheren of the Rose and Thistle. My grandfather, John Reid Logan, born 1876 Stevenson, received his MM degree during 1920 or 1922 while visiting Stevenson from Canada. If possible could you check your records and forward me any information on his Masonic History. I found your web site very interesting, especially the well written history of the Lodge. Hope to visit on next trip to Scotland.

Fraternal greetings to the RWM and brethren from all at the Rothesay Lodge. Being a Stevenson man, it feels strange being in a London lodge!

I have just received my 60 year pin last evening. I have My Father-in-Law\'s apron which he gave to me years ago. His name was James Ross Craig and he was born in Fraserborough in 1897 In I think. He probably joined your lodge in the early 1920s as he married Elizabeth Brown from Motherwell and emigrated to Canada in the Late \'20s. If the lodge is of any value to your Lodge I would happily donate it to your archives. If not I will see if our own Secretary has a place for it. Do you have any record of his membership there? Fraternally yours, Bro. Ronald Curtis Dawson, M.M.

Fellow Brethren,
On behalf of my son, Anthony, and myself, I would like to thank everyone from your lodge who attended our initiation at Bannockburn on the 24th of May, 2013. It made our night more special. We look forward to seeing you all again in the near future.

Dear Sir, May i through your website thank the Brethern of Stivenstoun Lodge 169, especially Brother Steven Burns, David Barclay, PM George Reid for making my many visits to Ayrshire and particularly your Mother Lodge so very friendly and welcoming. The ritual has been of the highest order and has been really enjoyable. I hope to come about your Mother Lodge for many years to come(when business allows) and appreciate the warm welcome into the Lodge on each ocassion. Warm Fraternal greetings from Selkirk St. John 32 and hope to be back in the Land of Burns soon. Yours Fraternally, Gordon J. Newlands JW
