We were asked to post specific instructions for anyone running the computer for a Masters GTP or Masters HGA Hunt.
“Save and Send a Hunt” Cheat Sheet
To Save:
Step #1: Go to http://www.masterfox.net/
Step #2: Click on The Masters HGA Scoring Program or Masterfox GTP 2010 Scoring Program to download
***(It will automatically be saved in your Downloads folder on your computer as MasterFox_HGA_2010_v1 or MasterFox_GTP_2010_v1.2)
Step #3: Go to Downloads folder and right-click on program. Click “Copy”
Step #4: Go to folder where you want it saved. Right-click anywhere and then click “Paste”
Step #5: Make sure you Copied & Pasted the actual file (not the Shortcut)
***The actual file will have a KB size of 10,000s, 20,000s etc. If the file size is only in the 10s or 100s, it is only the shortcut and will not open on the computer of the person you sent the file to.
To Rename:
Step #1: Right-click on program and click “Rename”
Step #2: After changing the name, click anywhere outside of the box
To Send:
From my experience, I have never been able to send the entire file by email because it is too big. DropBox is the way I always send (or share) the hunts I do.
Step #1: Go to https://www.dropbox.com/ (If you don’t have an account, sign up for one. The Basic Plan is Free. If you do have an account, just sign in.)
Step #2: Click “Upload files” and a dialog box will pop-up.
Step #3: Find the folder where you saved the program. Click the program and then Click “Open”
Step #4: Another dialog box will pop-up. Click “Dropbox” and then Click “Upload”
***It should show up on Home page under “Recent”. If not, Click “Files” on the left-hand side of the page. It’ll be under the same name as you saved it as on your computer.
Step #5: If you place the Clicker over the file, you should see a “Share” button next to the file name. Click “Share”
Step #6: Type e-mail address of the person or people you are wanting to send it to in the “To:” box. Click “Share”
I have downloaded the program. Could you please post a cheat sheet on how to set up a hunt using stake Open. I want to do a GPT hunt with 5 minute interval blocks. I have started a New Hunt, entered all my judges and dogs. Then when I enter my crossings, it doesnt kick out my duplicate scores automatically. Is something set wrong?
